Due to some great generosity I was able to get an elk tag. It is only a five day hunt (and one day was Sunday), so I was in the woods for four days (THANK YOU, Morgan) but it was beautiful and thankfully I was able to put some meat in the freezer.
Yeah, I'm so excited to have you join the blogging world! The kids are growing up so much! Congrats on the elk. Shayla wants to start a blog too, so I'll teach her and mom soon! Daisha
Yeah !! I'm excited as well that you guys have join the blogging world. It's a good way to get updates on the fam. Of course, Justin is thrilled about you getting an elk and will be excited to see pictures !!
Jacob, way to go on bagging your elk. It was just a little tyke, but I guess you'll take what you can get, right? Tee hee. We're glad you joined the blogging throng and excited to see updates on your family.
So here we all are in cyberspace - it's amazing and we love it! Your latest pictures are great! Everyone looks so cute - even the guy with hide! See you soon. The Utah Johnsons
Jacob, What to go on the elk. I just started the blogging thing and Nathan's has your link. It's awesome. I can't believe you have two kids. It's good to see your cute family. Marci
We are enjoying ourselves in Taos, New Mexico – where the desert meets the mountains and the people are anywhere and everywhere in between. Jacob is happily working at the BLM, where he takes any excuse to get out into the field. And Morgan is SO happy that she can be a stay-at-home mom and have days where there is no where in particular that she has to go, except now that she has to take Sage to and from school. Oh well.
The Kids
Sage
Sage is 7! Crazy! She is quite the little girl, learning fast and loving life. She still loves school, playing with friends, and her best buddy, Keiger. Most of the time, she has her nose in a book. She loves to read! She is also learning to swim all by herself.
Keiger
Keiger is 4 years and growing so big! He's such a sweet little boy. He still loves sports, especially soccer, and playing games! He can do a mean belly-flop.
Finneas
Finneas is such a character. Nearly 2 years old and crazy as ever. Exuberant and FULL of energy.
